Abstract
The population aging issue is the byproduct of society development. It refers to the rising proportion of aged people in the social development, as well as in the certain country or a certain area.
The 21st century will witness the aging issue across the whole world. It is changing the age frame and influencing various aspects of social development. Therefore, this aging issue is seizing attention from increasing people.
With the aging issue becoming more serious, it has gradually affected the developing country in the word. Since the background of China is low productivity and slow economy, it is facing the aging issue more serious.
To solve this problem, it needs proactive policy reponses based on a long-term sustainable decade. China is becoming an aging society in only 20 years and it is not unique in the world. In addition, the aging issue impacts on developing countries much more serious than that on developed countries. Therefore, the developing countries need to cope with the aging issue over a long period of time. For the proportion of the elderly population, it is gradually increasing while the care for the elder is limited. Therefore, employing older workers will be one way to solve this problem in terms of elderly poverty and labor shortages. It will reduce social costs and improve social stability poverty and labor shortages. It will reduce social costs and improve social stability. However, China is still not beyond the situation in 55 or 60 years.
The sixth census in 2010 showed that significant changes occurred in China's population. Such as the negative population growth, low fertility, irrational age structure, as well as the accelerated aging process and so on. This overshadowed the future of China's economic and social development.
Census results show that the population of ages between 15 and 65 years old in 2010 is 920 million. This increases nearly 100 million compared to 2000. After 2013, labor resources will gradually decline which means its contribution to economic growth will decline, even do a negative impact. The decrease of working-age population will profoundly affect China. Now, the relationship between the working population and retirees began to deteriorate. Impact of aging on aspects of employment problem, labor income and family changes have become apparent. Therefore, this paper involve the statistical and practical statistics methods to investigate changes in the age structure of China's population in a comprehensive and systematic way. Based on this, we also give advices on what impact of the aging structure on employment issues, labor income and family changes.
