Abstract
Electrochemically reduced graphene oxide nanosheets were carried out by fast and simple electrochemical method in non-toxic electrolyte, and their application as an alternative to conventional platinum cathode for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs). The graphene oxide were spin-coated on indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass and reduced by electrochemical, chemical reduction method. To investigate the characteristics of cathodes, we measured and analyzed Photovoltaic current-voltage curve, Electrochemical Impedance spectra, Tafel polarization, Cyclic Voltammograms, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Raman spectroscopy, Transmittance, Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). E-rGO transmittance >97%, power conversion 5.2 %, with a fill factor 0.52 was achived. The E-rGO was outperformed to chemically reduced graphene oxide (C-rGO).
