대학생의 내현적 자기애와 사회불안의 관계: 자기개념명료성의 매개효과

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the mediation effects of self-concept clarity on the realation between covert narcissism and social anxiety. The subjects of this study were 308 students (148 males, 160 females) who take cultural subjects in C,D,C university in Gwang-Ju. The measurement tools such as covert narcissism scale(CNS), social interaction anxiety scale(SIAS), and self-concept clarity(SCCS) were utilized. Collected research materials have analyzed by using SPSS 18.0. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, covert narcissism showed a significant positive correlation with social interaction. Second, covert narcissism showed a significant negative correlation with self-concept clarity. Third, self-concept clarity showed a significant negative correlation with social interaction. Fourth, it proved significant that covert narcissism predicted social interaction anxiety and that convert narcissism predicted self-concept clarity and that self-concept clarity also predicted social interaction anxiety. Lastly, the results made from the multiple regression analysis, which was used to verity the mediation effects of evaluative concerns perfectionism, showed that the effects of covert narcissism on social interaction had the partial mediation effects on self-concept clarity. Thus, the study is significant in the sense that it has indicated the importance of self-concept clarity to consult the college students who have social anxiety. This study also provides basic data for future research on psychopathology. On the basis of the results, it was discussed about the significance and limitations of this study, and the suggestions for further research.
