Korean Dancing Program Development and Research
for Promotion of Health a Senior

Method: This study model Pre-Korean dance program which get help professional and welfare facilities to investigate effects when they participate in Korean dance.
We made this program, has 8 steps, twice a week for eight weeks with qualified subjects.
Objective: To solve aging problem that old people's heath improvement and using spare time considering sudden appearance of aging society.
Dance is a silent artistic presentation that can express the people's feeling through beautifully and naturally. The old can participate in leisure and they can elevate muscular strength and endurance. There are two important features in dance that are rhythmic sense or tone. Dance can relieve boredom or fatigue, can help have joyful mind by space sense, power of expression, social and emotional change it make them to have positive mind.
The old(non-physical activities) easily led into extremely unstable emotional state because of the aging process not only in physical but in mental. Therefore, old people need physical activities to recover their life's balance.
It is role of correcting postures such as relax tensed muscle and stretch body. Also repeated practice of breathing can improve lung's functions. Through repeated practice of the low part of the body, it is effective to improve stamina, balance and pliability, etc.
Above all things it is protective to physical disabilities during old age and it delay degeneration of skeletal, muscular, nervous system and develop one's muscular, endurance, balance, strength. Also it can be expected emotional refinement and make channel of communication naturally. This can decrease old people's disease related their stress and increase social activity l-ⅱ-evel.  
This study search social problems of aging society in korea and discuss results which is related with verificated physical activities and old people's social, physical immune system. To more specific, we search physical and emotional changes in the aged people through application of Koran dance method.  
Our society would not satisfied with this achievement, should try to present various method for increasing health and leisure by Koran dance program. Moreover, we should manage and develope it. It is not only establishment of infrastructure and program, but continuous efforts.
It need the personal, group researchers or related worker's efforts. In addition, positive aid from government. We need to lead social members to recognize aging problem clearly because we still have lack-ⅲ- of public interest in aging society.
