In 21th century, as industry society is changed into knowledge and information one by globalism, the new sense of value and life is demanded.
Also in the rapid changing information society computer plays an important role and to face positively against the How of century, to improve the national competition the computer education is necessary. Especially, it is more important in the in the vocational high school which raises professional workers and workforce who can play a pivoal role in each field.
The number of school and student, however is going down year by yyear by various factors. Thus, the multiful research for vitality of vocational high school is lively working on
The curriculum from complete education dealing with job seeker to one caring both employment and entrance into a school of higher grade in operating.
Introducing the selective and intellectual level curriculum, the offer the various chance of education according to students' ability is the goal in the seventh education curriculum.
Thus, this thesis analyzes the present condition of vocational high school, the curriculum of students and checks the usefulness of computer and satisfaction and attempts to suggest much better an education curriculum The specific objective of research is like this
First, grape the curriculum of vocational school students
Second, analyze the computer practical use degree and satisfaction of individual students
Third, as a result of above, attempt to suggest a way to improve.
The curriculum of vocational high schools is composed of the two. on the first grade the public people basic course and from the second to third grade it is divided by the general book and the professional one.
The general book involves the public people basic course and the selective subject book consists of the general and the deepening.
The computer book divided by a fraction is 'General computer' to the commercial 'Information skill basic' to the technical, 'Agriculture information management to the agriculture, 'Marine and see information' to the marine and see' The research targets are 4 vocational high schools and 478 students.
To analyze correlation, chi-square independence test, t-test and one way - ANOVA using SPSS 12 were executed.
When the result of survey was evaluated a motive seleting vocatinal high school was in the environmental causes.
'According to the grade of middle school' (47.6%) the use of computer was for 'chatting and game' (50.7%).
The facilities for computer use emerged 'Normal'(37.0%), 'Not at all'(23.0%), 'No'(20.1%).
Asked by the question to satisfaction of class, 'Normal'(52.7%), 'No'(21.3%) was expressed and the reason why they didn't was not answered by the most.
