조기 피아노 교육의 필요성과 효과적인 지도방안에 관한 연구

This study aims first to emphasize the need for early piano education and then to suggest effective piano teaching skills. The range of proper ages for early piano education is limited between age 4 and 7 in this paper when a rapid growth is made in a physical and mental way. Moreover, this period is considered proper for early music education by many music educators including Zoltsh Kodaly.
For the thesis, a great number of technical books and documents in related fields such as early music education and piano education were researched, and the writer's own experiences in piano teaching were also reviewed to get some ideas on the significance and importance of early music education, recommended music education ways, the purposes and needs for early piano education, various conditions for early piano education, and how to choose good piano teaching materials and use them, etc.
The result of this study presents that through right piano education, children come to understand and express music properly, and can live a emotionally rich life. It also helps them establish a right sense of value and form a good character.
