Abstract
This study analyzes about color perception and sensitivity of childhood to have an unusual sensibility for colors. And the subject of this study is fine art activities of children that help their fixed color recognition to be free and multilateral.
Children evaporates their desire through picturing freely and children's fine art has meaning of symbol and self-expression. And through fine art activities process children can communicate through non-verbal communication and we can understand their psychological condition. In fine art activities of children, it is a color that reflects physiological condition and psychological emotion expression of children excellently.
The color gives children good practice in learning an aesthetic sense, affects daily life, gives peace emotionally and physically and get children to act positively. The color preference tends to be different individually. Those are environment to be in, education, own character, habits, the vogue, social, usual condition and experience. Therefore environment affects color activities in abundance to growing children. It is as follows that we know through the color psychology study.
First, the color has an unusual sensibility for background.
Second, children recognizes a canvas by color, fill it up and accentuate forms by own intelligence and sensibility.
Third, we can see their emotional and psychological state and communicate by color without saying a word.
Lastly, the color is a mirror of the real character of children to be hided in.
This study analyzes the children's color recognition development step, color preference and color psychology. Many scholars have studied on it. It is against a color notions of children, emotional effects, associational action.
Being based on such analysis, this study intends to understand the children's latent recognition and sense on color psychology.
Moreover this study gives children opportunity to be able to recognize the color widely, abundant sensational experience by right understanding the color and has an effect on emotional purification and desirable character formation by recognizing children's environment and importance of color, and can be a reference for right color education guide.
I hope that this study revitalizes the color emotion education by fine art activities of children and positive sight to the color emotion, arouses person's interest in the color psychology, help us understand children by looking into children's inside properly and can be used for the art education for a desirable character formation of children profitably.
