청소년 음악 감상의 효과적 지도를 위한 연구 : 중학생을 중심으로

Junior High School music education today is divided in to four areas. They are: singing, musical instruments, composition, and music appreciation through listening (music appreciation). Of these four areas, music appreciation plays the most fundamental and central role in music education. However, it has been improperly dealt with, and for too many years, it has been neglected by many schools and educators compared to other areas. Therefore, much study and effort in finding proper teaching method of educators is needed and should follow.
The purpose of this study is to renew the appreciation of the importance of music and to search for efficient teaching method for music appreciation through study of music texts. First, the characteristics of junior high school years and music appreciation topics from the 7th curriculum were examined. And with this as the background, a systematic and specific music appreciation program that can be applied in actual school music class was presented.
There may be multiple ways for teaching music appreciation, however, it is important to first consider the systematic order and the importance of students' learning stage.
Therefore, in order to establish proper music appreciation activities in music education in an actual school setting, a systematic and specific music appreciation teaching method that is in accordance with the education curriculum of the Ministry of Education must be established, and studies on its learning stage must immediately be conducted.
