- Abstract
- The purpose of this treatise is to the aesthetic value of , a achieving work of Gosan literature, and its position in the poetic Gosan who was a literary man as well as a scholar and politician has a genius in literature rather than any other sphere.
is the song in genuine Korean language by escaping from (漁父歌) with the form that collects phrases of the chinese poetry. Its entire form constitutes a unique style which skillfully combines rhyme in Yi-Dynasty with the form of a song in Goryo-Dynasty characterized by the continual overlap, the division of a stanzas and the refrain. Although this composed of forty stanzas receives a poetical idea from the (漁父歌) of Nong-Am(聾岩), it opened the original genre by means of his own new poetic composition.
Gosan had lived a succeeded-banished-sequestered life. Gosan is not fond of nature as a objective observer in the state isolated from the life, but embodies the lively experience of a fisherman in one united body with nature. Namely is the highest reach of 'Gang Ho Ga Do'(江湖歌道) in Yi-Dynasty which represents the life experience of a fisherman.
Gosan embodied nature through his excellent carving ability in language with chosing a plain common language the poetic diction.
