As the significance of music education has progressed, the recognition of various teaching method began to emerge. In this teaching technique music isn't just played
with high and low notes in a constant melody, but it is learned through rhythmic
teaching techniques throughout the world. The Dalc instruments, feeling and expression through every sense of the body.
This thesis will examine the Dalcroze methodologythat highly influenced musical roze tinvolves three components:
-Eurhythmicsbody movechnique ement
-Solfege(singing with a piece)
-Improvisatioin piano playing
Eurhythmics is the most rudimentary and fundamental aspect of the method. This teaching technique utilizes the element of sound waves and the natural Dalcroze
movement of the human body. The Dalcroze chnique develops sensitivity to rhythm movements such as jumping, walking and acting with the use of various instruments.
This technique helps beginners to sense accurate rhythm through repetition. It allows participants to experience self-expression through imitation.
Dalcrozebelieved his students would develop their musical expression through freely playing the piano and singing by note. He also concluded that teachers who would implement his methodology, would eliminate cramming and help their students have a comfortable positive approach to music. This methodology fosters
a sincere attitude toward research and the exploration of finding new ways to stimulate student interest.
