Abstract
Color makes the world diverse and rich. It is recognized as more than a form in the space and perception. Also it inspires human's sentiment, and an abundant environment or a space. So, color has a close relation with human's psychological structure.
Especially, school interior color exists inside the unconsciousness of students and reflects the whole of life to form the pattern of sensitivity, attitude and conduct. It is also effective in forming character, study and even health.
There is a social tendency which considers the admission of university more important than emotion in educational method and it is due to the result that current education doesn't reflect the demand of our society under the changing situation of our society and culture.
The students' satisfaction at the place they study contributes to the increase of efficiency of study but also the development of body and psychologically good condition. It means that color of space is able to provide a direction to overcome student's problems.
The interior of school where the students spend most of their time has more influence than any other thing. However, though the educational system has been changed a lot, the environment of education is still not changed. The reason is that the thought about education environment hasn't been changed yet.
The interior color of school is uniform and stiffened because it is not the color to consider education and preference of students but the color to consider economy of school and preference of school's managers. The purpose of this research is to study teenagers' preferred color and satisfaction of interior color of school and then, to propose the interior color of school where student will be able to spend cheerily and happily.
According to the school color recommendation guide, the interior color of school generally has to fit the environment of classroom and improve studying effect. It also has to reflect effectively contents of studying and have the proper color plan in each space. It has to consider the sensible and psychological effect which the color gives in the environment of classroom and adapt a color theory to a delicate and subtle part of each function. It also has to apply new color to achieve effective results and the study of interior color of school should continue consistently to improve the image of school and to achieve various effects by introducing various colors. The school interior color has to respond to students' emotion and color sensitivity, adapt the environment of the neighboring area and need not only the effort about the plan of modern interior color but also the study on external color plan and other facilities of school.
