The Effect of Pilates Refomer Exercise on Body Composition And Blood Free Oxygen Radical in Middle Age Women

This study is a composite group of 8 weeks (Pilates Refomer exercise) and the non exercise group in middle age women active oxygen concentration, body composition how the impact placed. Study of 24 people, they are a composite group of women (Pilates Refomer exercise) and the non exercise group was placed in each of twelve group of radio.
Experimental tests before and after 8 weeks of twice the total across all subjects in the active oxygen concentration from the blood test and physical examination was significantly different from the data obtained in order to verify the Paired t-test for within-group, Independent t-test between groups was performed, the significance level of p<.05 is set to the following conclusions.

1. Exercise group's body composition was not change in weight, BMI, %fat after pilates reformer exercise. And skeleton muscle mass was slightly increased but was not significant differences(p>.05). Non exercise group's body composition was not change. Comparisons between groups in the body composition after the experiment than before the experiment was not show significant differences(p>.05).

2. Change of activated oxygen concentration was significantly increased after experiment(p<.001), and there was not significant difference statisically between groups after measurement(p>.05).

Taken together, it formed conclusions that pilates refomer exercise program can not be said to be positive effects on weight loss and %fat loss but confirmed the potential that can help to improve muscle strength by functional exercise method.
In addition, to help middle-aged women who want to choose an exercise program pilates reformer exercises can be selected as an effective exercise program for effective health care should fine-tune the exercise period, intensity, frequency, etc. And follow-up study by the research will be thoroughly such as dietary control and to expand the selection of subjects age and composed analysis.
