Abstract
With the diversification of modern society, the diverse values of modern people and the resulting consumption culture that values the intangible value pursuit and experience are important, the demand for accommodations is on the rise. Thus, unlike in the past, hotels have become more than just a cultural experience platform, fulfilling their own tastes or sensibility, or having new and special experiences, making it important to play a role as a function of their destination itself.
Now I am deeply interested in the value of more than design and service of the hotel with a variety of approaches to concepts and changes in consciousness about the meaning of the hotel, regardless of the operators and users of the hotel industry. In order to meet these social changes, the hotel's trend is also changing with the advent of a lifestyle hotel with a strategy of these needs and one-size-fits-alls.

What's noticeable is that in addition to the basic room space that forms the hotel, the dining and drinking area is emerging as a role that satisfies expectations of delicate personal tastes and new cultural experiences. The role of the food and beverage space in the lifestyle hotel is to reach out to a variety of people who can deeply reflect the culture and trends that the hotel pursues and accept as a preference, and to help re-create the personal life style and social flow.

Therefore, this study will look at storytelling and spatial storytelling and the concepts and changes of domestic and international lifestyle hotels, and analyze lifestyle hotel food and beverage expression characteristics through examples. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to understand the characteristics of the expression of the lifestyle hotel's food and beverage space from a spatial storytelling perspective and to present a theoretical foundation for the domestic lifestyle hotel to develop continuously according to the trend of the times.

The subject of the case analysis was opened after 2015 with a rapidly changing lifestyle hotel centered on the domestic case. It was limited to three-star or more international chain hotels and local hotels, and its characteristics were analyzed based on keywords derived from the previous three aspects.

Therefore, it was found that the spatial branding expression characteristics of the derived lifestyle hotel food and beverage space were applied evenly in the case.

First, in the context of the story, entertainment is shown by the characteristics of the lifestyle hotel food and beverage space. Boutique Hotel customers are seeking to satisfy their curiosity and enjoyment through creative elements or content and programs that can be alienated or experimental and stimulating. This is why the proportion of the diversity of the extra space outside the guest room, which is the representative space of the hotel, is increasing.

Second, in terms of the method of expression, the lifestyle hotel food and beverage space is multiculturalism that aims to convey various values through spatial expression elements. In addition to the basic layout of the space according to the lifestyle of the customers who use the hotel, the hotel has various conceptions of space. This is because it expresses various spatial structures according to the concept in a mixture of genres, culture, or sense of time and space.

Third, in terms of the creation of relationships, the Lifestyle Hotel food and beverage space is the consumer's desire to induce voluntary participation by customers through the elements applied within the space in which the story is designed.

The above research shows that the concept, type, and strategy elements, the appearance of a lifestyle hotel, and the life style hotel food and beverage expression elements are actively reflected in the characteristics derived from the contents of the story, the way of expression, and the creation of the relationship. Through the characteristics of spatial storytelling in the life style hotel dining and drinking spaces, the users who will experience the space are expected to understand the flow of the domestic lifestyle hotel food and beverage space and to be utilized as basic data on the operation and research of the eating and drinking spaces of the lifestyle hotels and food industry.
현대사회의 다원화로 인하여 현대인들의 다양한 가치관과 이로 인한 무형적인 가치 추구과 경험을 중요하게 여기는 소비문화가 대두되면서 숙박시설의 수요가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 따라 호텔은 과거와는 달리 단순한 숙박 기능 이상의 문화 경험 플랫폼으로 변모하면서 자신의 취향 또는 감성을 만족시키거나 새롭고 특별한 체험을 하는 등 그 자체가 목적지의 기능하는 공간으로써의 역할이 중요하게 되었다.
이제는 호텔 산업의 운영자와 이용자를 막론하고 호텔이 갖는 의미에 대한 의식의 변화와 개념에 대한 다각도의 접근 등으로 호텔의 디자인, 서비스 그 이상의 가치에 대해 깊은 관심을 갖고 있다. 이러한 사회적 변화에 부합하고자 호텔의 트렌드 또한 맞추어 변모하고 있는데, 이러한 니즈와 원츠를 전략으로 내세우는 라이프스타일 호텔이 등장하게 된 것이다.

이 중 눈에 띄는 부분은 호텔을 구성하는 공간 중 기본이 되는 객실 공간 외에 식음공간은 섬세한 개인의 취향과 새로운 문화적 경험에 대한 기대를 만족시키는 역할로 부상하고 있다는 점이다. 호텔이 추구하는 문화와 트렌드를 공간에 깊이 반영할 수 있고 이를 취향으로 받아들이는 이용자들이 서로 소통하고 영향을 주고 받는 공간으로, 이를 향유하고 공감하는 다양한 사람들에게 멋진 추억과 경험으로 다가가 개인의 삶의 방식과 사회의 흐름의 재창조를 돕는 것이 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간의 역할이다.

따라서 본 연구는 스토리텔링 그리고 공간 스토리텔링과 국내외 라이프스타일 호텔의 개념과 개념 및 변화에 대해 고찰하고, 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간 표현 특성을 사례를 통해 분석하고자 한다. 이에 따라 공간 스토리텔링 관점으로 본 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간 표현 특성을 파악하고, 국내 라이프스타일 호텔이 시대의 흐름에 맞춰 지속적으로 발전할 수 있도록 이론적 토대를 제시하고자 연구하는데 목적이 있다.

사례 분석의 대상은 국내 사례를 중심으로 트렌드에 맞춰 빠르게 변화하고 있는 라이프스타일 호텔 중심으로 2015년 이후에 개관하였으며, 국내 3성급 이상의 인터네셔널 체인 호텔 및 로컬 호텔들로 한정하였고, 앞서 도출된 3가지 측면에서 도출된 키워드를 중심으로 그 특성을 분석하였다.

이에 따라 도출된 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간의 스페이스 브랜딩 표현 특성이 사례에 골고루 적용되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

첫째, 이야기의 내용 측면의 경우, 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간 표현 특성으로 나타난 오락성이다. 부티크 호텔을 찾는 고객은 탈일상적 또는 실험적이고 감성을 자극하는 조형적 요소 또는 컨텐츠와 프로그램을 통해 호기심을 해소하고 즐거움을 영위하고자 한다는 점이다. 호텔의 대표적인 공간인 객실 외의 부대공간의 다양성에 대한 비중이 높아지고 있는 이유이기도 하다.

둘째, 표현의 방법 측면의 경우, 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간은 공간적 표현 요소를 통해 다양한 가치를 전달하고자 한다는 다문화성이다. 호텔을 이용하는 고객의 라이프스타일에 맞춰 공간의 기본적 레이아웃 이외에도 다양한 공간의 컨셉을 갖추고 있다. 이는 컨셉에 따라 다양한 공간 구성을 다양한 장르나 문화 혹은 시공간적 감각들이 혼재되거나 뒤섞인 양상으로 표현하고 있다는 점이다.

셋째, 관계의 생성 측면의 경우, 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간은 이야기가 디자인된 공간 속 그 안에 적용된 요소를 통해 고객의 자발적 참여를 유도하고자 한다는 소비자 참여성이다.

위와 같은 연구를 통하여 공간스토리텔링 개념과 유형 및 전략요소, 라이프스타일 호텔의 등장배경과 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간 표현요소를 파악하고, 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간의 공간 스토리텔링 표현특성이 이야기의 내용, 표현의 방법, 관계의 생성 측면을 통해 도출된 특성이 적극적으로 반영되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간의 공간 스토리텔링 표현 특성을 통해 해당 공간을 경험하게 될 이용객이 국내 라이프스타일 호텔 식음공간 및 업계에 대한 흐름의 이해를 돕고 호텔 및 식음업계 관련 실무자 또는 관계자, 운영자에게 라이프스타일 호텔의 식음공간 운영 및 연구에 대한 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
