Abstract: 2015 revised mathematics curriculum is emphasizing the mathematical problem solving that is one of the mathematics core competency. Because of this reason, school mathematics is trying to improve students’ problem solving ability. So, this study applied the problem solving approach which is based on the intuitive inquiry phase and the formal inquiry phase. The problem solving approach enables students to establish mathematical concepts through problem solving, to discover formalized principles associated with concepts, and to apply them to real world situations. In this study, I used the case study that 4-elementary students participated. In the mathematics class experience of applying the problem solving approach developed in this study, students used the pictures for solving the problems in the intuitive stage, made the new problems in the application stage. Futhermore, the rate of correctness is improved. So, I certified the possibility of appling of this approach in classroom.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to search for competency-centered Korean classical music, focusing on textbooks based on the 2015 revised curriculum, and to present guidance plans for haegeum. To this end, a total of 28 music textbooks for middle school and 10 music textbooks for high school were searched for, along with the capacity of the curriculum. In addition, textbooks containing Haegeum Sanjo and Sanjo of other musical instruments were compared and analyzed, and an expression-oriented guidance plan was presented. The results of the study are as follows. First, the presented a variety of Korean musical instruments to make Korean traditional music a daily life, and showed an increase in quantity compared to previous textbooks. Second, looking at the contents of the guidance plan for each area of Haegeum, it was confirmed that the contents of understanding of musical instruments were treated with great importance through the achievement standards of middle and high schools and teaching and learning methods. Third, the curriculum of Korean music in the 2015 music curriculum was reviewed, and the amount, content, and guidance plan of haegeum were analyzed in the textbook, and an appropriate guidance plan for the expression area was suggested.

Abstract: This study analyzed the effect of Saussure's linguistic semiotics-based sound-symbol linking enhanced strategy on reading fluency and task avoidance behaviors in poor reading students who are not able to understand Korean. The effects were analyzed by applying a multi-baseline design among 3 participants in the first grade students who did not understand Korean. The experiment was conducted from baseline to maintenance for about 1 month. According to key results, first, reading fluency of students with poor reading who participated in the study improved. The average PND during intervention phase was 82.22. It was found that the fluency of students improved rapidly after the middle period rather than at the beginning of the intervention. Second, students with poor reading participated in task avoidance behavior decreased. The average PND during intervention phase was 95.56%, higher than reading fluency. This study is meaningful in that it applied the creative combination of Saussure's linguistic semiotics theory, a signfiant and a visual image, as a strategy of strengthening the connection between phonemes and texts and verified the effect.

Abstract: In this study, we tried to find out the effect of English classes using the animated film "Rapunzel" on English listening ability and interest. To find out this, an experiment class was conducted for 7 elementary school 6th graders for 4 weeks, and the following results were obtained. First, there was no significant difference in pre- and post-listening ability for classes using animated movies. This seems to be because the students' ability to achieve English listening was already at the upper level. Second, classes using animated films had a positive effect on students' interests. It was confirmed through interviews that I gained confidence in English through various activities and that I developed an active learning attitude by participating with learners of my age. In addition, it can be said that the reluctance to watch movies without Korean subtitles was reduced by combining the existing information and the English version through familiar animation. The results presented in this study show that it can be very effective in terms of affectiveness. However, in terms of listening skills, students' listening skills should be verified by using more detailed test papers. In addition, it is necessary to secure the diversity of themes that can be used in classes with animated films. Finally, there is a need for research on the development of textbooks and activities using animated films. Multilateral research should be conducted on textbooks that can positively influence all areas of English.
