Abstract: An Analysis of Nature-Friendly Elements of Cafe Space Design Yi Yu-Jin Advisor : Prof. Moon Jeong-min, Ph,D Department of Design Graduate School of Chosun University The development of all industries has been mainly developed in large cities. People living in large cities lived in a society where mental stress was prevalent in urban life due to the overcrowded population density of limited space. As a result, people's desire to bring nature into urban living spaces and indoor spaces increased, and a lifestyle pursuing an eco-friendly living culture was pursued. The application of nature-friendly elements in space was applied differently according to the times and trends, but nature-friendly elements have always been a homework to relieve people's instinctive desire for nature. It is human instinctive desire to contact nature in the city space, and attractive elements of nature. The introduction of natural eco-friendly elements in the cafe space where people can easily access to users can easily access to users such as psychological comfortable, rest. As people suffered from the natural disaster of the coronavirus epidemic, humans were threatened with life. People's awareness of health and hygiene for virus prevention was considered important. When this crisis came, humans had a strong desire for nature. As the virus deprived people of their freedom to distance and travel (overseas travel), people tried to get closer to nature. Through social network services, a new culture has been created instead of traveling, such as a culture that authenticates spaces such as places where there are no people, places only I know, and new places, which has led to a culture that authenticates a new cafe space called 'Cafe Tour'. In this way, the virus has influenced society as a whole, such as changing people's lifestyles. Accordingly, this study attempted to find the application of natural eco-friendly elements in space design and expression methods in space design. It is meaningful for research related to natural eco-friendly relationship with natural elements, so it is meaningful to find changes depending on the flow of the era of the era. As a result of the study, cafes opened at the time of 2020~2023 years after the trend of COVID-19 in 2020. In various variety of complex modern society, which prefer natural eco-friendly atmosphere in various diverse and complex modern society has become an important design element in space. The analysis derivation and categorization of the application and expression method of nature-friendly elements in this study have limitations in that the meaning and scope may differ depending on the perspective of researchers. In addition, since the geographical and spatial ranges are set in selecting the case target site, there will certainly be limitations in the subject and content of the study analysis. However, through case analysis, it was confirmed that people's desires for space are gradually evolving as they develop, and the functions of cafe spaces are also diversifying. If nature-friendly elements are not only expressed in a cafe space in a design way related to the function and purpose of the space, I think that the nature-friendly cafe space will become a cafe space with improved design as well as functions such as a "third space." The introduction of nature-friendly elements will expand in scale and there will be various methods of application. It is expected that nature-friendly elements will be strategically applied to design in various spaces in the future to satisfy users' spatial consumption needs. This paper will be able to grasp the trends in spatial design that emerged or attracted attention again during the coronavirus epidemic, and provide basic data as prior research on expression methods and characteristics in spatial design to which nature-friendly elements are applied. * KeyWord: Cafe, Cafe space, Space Design, Nature-friendly

Abstract: A Study on the Spatial Planning of Public Indoor Playgrounds ―Gyeonggi-do, Jeollanam-do, and North Jeolla-do― Lee, Ja-Eun Advisor : Prof. Moon, Jeong-min Departmentof Design Space ․ Public Chosun University Graduate School of Design The perception that playgrounds are outside was common, but the importance of indoor playgrounds is highlighted due to environmental and social problems such as restrictions on external activities and play due to abnormal climate phenomena such as ultrafine dust, yellow dust, and heat waves, and potential risk factors such as traffic and crime. While the social demand for indoor playgrounds is increasing due to these environmental factors, public indoor play facilities that should be open to all are insufficient. In a situation where more environments are needed to raise children, the size of the kids industry market is growing significantly, but private kids cafes (indoor playgrounds) often have commercial characteristics, resulting in significant differences in play experiences depending on parents' economic power, time, and residential areas. This study selected a total of eight locations, including Gyeonggi-do Province (4 locations) with the highest installation rate and Jeollanam-do and North Jeolla Province (4 locations) with the lowest installation rate, based on the installation standard data in the housing complex, and parents according to the type of operation, the subject of playground use, and the characteristics of the playground's spatial arrangement according to child workers were classified by type. First, the space composition and area of the public indoor playground differ depending on the subject and function of the user. In the case of parent space, it plays a role as a play support center, and in the case of child space, the main functions are play space, and the educational program and experience space through play, and in the case of worker space, the basic space, information desk (counter or bath room, preparation room), etc., are mainly used. Second, when the characteristics of the space arrangement of playgrounds were divided by type, in the case of public indoor playgrounds, the play-centered type and the functional separation type were the main ones. In the case of the play-centered type, the play space is indoors, and the mobility of parents and children is convenient due to the strong openness to the space, and it is characterized by easy observation and protection. In addition, it was suitable for children to run freely in the form of a cafe (shelter) space such as a shelter or a rest area surrounding the area. In the case of the functional separation type, each floor was separated, so it was generally possible to focus on their roles rather than openness between the two users, showing a form in which the user could spend time independently. Third, comparing the urban area of Gyeonggi-do with the rural areas of Jeollanam-do and North Jeolla-do. When analyzed, play spaces, rest rooms, counters, and multipurpose rooms were basically installed in both areas, and the space composition and area were different depending on the user's subject and function. In particular, in urban areas, children's right to play was resolved to some extent because there were various installations such as play support centers, nursing rooms, professional education spaces, experience spaces, stage spaces, and terraces in the parent area, where basic counseling, education, and lectures were conducted. However, in the case of rural areas, there was an urgent need for improvement and supplementation of the space in the future, consisting of a project to fit into a multifunctional complex, a uniform and uncharacteristic concept, and a limited space composition. Public indoor playgrounds are one of the public use facilities that anyone can easily access without burden with low usage fees. The need to acquire various and qualitative elements for spatial planning was recognized by incorporating them into indoor playgrounds in rural areas that were uniformed through various composition of spaces in urban areas, operation of programs, and establishment of basic systems such as play experts. In this study, as a study on public indoor playground space plans centered on urban and rural areas, we examined the differences in spatial composition through analysis data according to characteristics such as user, function, and type of space arrangement, and tried to suggest directions for desirable spatial composition by comparing and analyzing urban and rural areas. In particular, as a result of the case analysis, it was found that most of the indoor playgrounds created in the public had remodeled idle spaces (buildings) that were underutilized or not properly used due to the uniform spatial composition in the past. Due to the characteristics of the region, the need for further research was recognized, such as ways to more actively utilize vacant houses in rural areas or idle spaces (buildings) that are not used for their original purposes. As research is conducted with a more detailed analysis framework of elements for each space, it seems necessary to follow up on public indoor space plans that match the characteristics of users in rural areas through comparative analysis and characteristics of desirable indoor space composition. With this opportunity, we intend to improve the culture of the play environment in rural areas that are on the verge of extinction and provide basic data that can contribute to revitalizing local culture, such as establishing a settlement population, by preventing the outflow of population to cities.

Abstract: Recently, as the sense of crisis due to the depletion of fossil fuels and global warming has become greater, the need for eco-friendly transportation has emerged as a very important social issue. Among them, bicycles do not use any fuel or emit any pollutants, so they are used as a useful means of movement, transportation, and exercise. Recently, as the function of bicycles as a means of transportation due to frequent traffic congestion has been highlighted, interest in electric bicycles is also increasing. . In particular, it is true that electric bicycles are heavy and expensive, which puts a huge burden on purchasing them. Therefore, although detachable electric drive devices have been developed, they are not preferred due to many problems with detachment.
In this study, a detachable electric drive device that can convert a regular bicycle into an electric bicycle according to the driver's needs was selected as the research object, but the existing detachable electric drive device that must use a connecting means called a bracket because the front and rear wheels and chain sprocket must be driven directly. By proposing a detachable electric drive device that directly drives the chain, taking a completely different perspective from the electric drive device, we would like to propose an electric drive device design that allows the electric drive device to be attached and detached to a bicycle without using a bracket.
First, through theoretical consideration, the concept and characteristics of a bicycle, the structure of a bicycle, the main elements for driving a bicycle, the concept and characteristics of an electric bicycle, types of electric bicycles by driving method, analysis of the driving method of an electric bicycle, and the We conduct research on the market status, concepts and types of detachable electric drive devices, and analysis of detachable electric drive devices, find design improvement elements through surveys, and then directly drive the chain through design direction setting and design layout. By analyzing the external and functional elements of the electric drive system, the optimal design of the detachable electric drive system was derived, and through the final blueprint proposal, final design proposal, and final design 3D modeling process, it can be universally used on many bicycle frames without using brackets. A mass-produced design result was created for a chain-driven electric drive device that can be combined and detached with one touch, and can ensure user convenience and visibility for safety.
