Abstract

Today's school music education should improve through comprehensive musical experience increase a student's aesthetic ability into improving one's quality of life and eventually helping create better culture ond belongs to. These objects can be accomplished when a proper curriculum is set and it is well taught. the objective of this thesis is to analyze the nine textbooks in middle school. the textbooks were edited and revised since 2002 in accordance with the 7th Curriculum, seta to analyze mainly vocal songs those are selected in these music textbooks and presents problem-solution and guidance direction. First, all the textbooks, based on the guideline of the 7th National Curriculum, follow its standards such as creativity of song selection, sensitivity to environment and personality ect., within which authors and publishers have organized their own textbooks Second, since our studies about the cracking of voice(its concept, symptoms and the rang of the voice) by various references, we found out cracking happens more noticeably to boys than to girls, The symptoms are like this: hoarse voice, unstable tone, uncomfortable high-tone and the about one-octave-lowered range of voice. Third, even if the songs in the textbook are chosen accordance with the curriculum, the fact that they are confused between textbook songs and popular sings, and between foreign songs and Korean traditional songs. Actually, since the songs Accordingly, we need to choose the songs mirroring times. Also, it is necessary to give a chance to understand mass media by including popular songs history in the musical curriculum I wouldn't be more happy if the writing of mine could contribute to the improvement of Korean music education.
